Abstract
Existentialist concerns are not the major theme in Bakhtiyar Vahapzade's poems, who is one of the important figures in Azerbaijan-Turkish literature. However, he wrote some poems with existential concerns in various periods. In these poems, the existential concern is a theme that appears from time to time. We recognize that Vahapzade feels existential concerns with its all dimensions in his poems in the beginning, and that he approaches to submission in his poems after 1980 with an identity of a wise person. In his last poems, we also come across a poet who submits himself against the mysteries of existence and earth. Having considered existential concerns as a problem, we have tried to examine the reflection of this problem in Bakhtiyar Vahapzade's poems.
