A group o f bindings from Erkilet Mehmet Paşa mosqııe, which were tom away from their original manuscripts, were brought to Ethnographical Museum of Kayseri. Bindings, some o f which consists of either front or end cover only and some o f which is complete were not recorded as inventory, but simply put to the museum depot as ıesearch material. The sizes o f those bindings are compared and matched with the books of Mehmet Paşa Vakfı, which are now in Kayseri Raşid Efendi Library. M atching books and bindings were determined. Bindings were mostly pıoduced as moulded press, few having gold gilding. The continuation o f the Seljııkid tradition of book binding can be tı aced in some o f the pieces. There is no document on vvhether those bindings were the originals of the volumes vvhich were donated by Mehmet Paşa or a product or repair o f local atelier.
