Abstract

Turks are the special population who lives without compromising their cultural assets (language, religion, art) through the period that they lived in Middle Asia and the Turkey today. When they were nomads, they scrape their tamgas on the rocks trough the ways that they migrated. While they were settled they embroidered those tamgas on visual materials such as kirkitli weavings, felts etc. By carrying the visuals like im, yanish, bezeme until today they leave a big heritage to their ad olescent. They show them where they passed through and lived with this heirship. There are still 7-8 thousands Turkish tribes all over Anatolia contin ues to weave. All tribes have different designs on their kilims, carpets, cicims and sumacs. It is tangible only by looking those weaving which tribe that they belong (Bektik, Çayan, Alayuntlu). This is very important for the weavers. Because of the causes that we explain above, It is important for the researchers that are working on this subject to specify which weavings belongs the which tribes to show the respect that they have for the Turkish culture. Our culture will also be carry on with this way. The population without culture is like a person who doesn't have any fami ly or whom cant read and write. Its existence on earth is controversial. Every scientist must be aware of it. They should not forget that they owe this to their past and future.
