Abstract

Fazıl Hüsnü Dağlarca is one of the most productive poets in Turkish literature. He wrote many poems ranging from individual issues to social concerns, from national feelings to global problems, and from children's sensitivity to the deity consciousness. One of the themes the poet deals with is the Turkish National Struggle which he examines within the framework of developing the national awareness. In this article, his poetry books on the National Independence War will be studied in terms of the National Struggle's Period, the National Independence Geography, the People of the National Struggle and the Philosophy of the Independence War.
