Abstract
The People's Houses, founded on 19 February 1932 in order to deliver the Republican regime and the Turkish Revolution to the people, are the cultural institutions that played important roles in the development of Turkish citizens in accordance with the principles of the Republic. The Kayseri People's House, opened on 24 June 1933, also played a great role in establishing and ensuring the principles of the Republic and integrating the state with the public. In this study, we tried to find out how the Kayseri People's House organized the Republic Day ceremonies during the Atatürk's period (1932, 1935, 1936, 1937, and 1938).
