The Process of Persianization in Iran and the Role of Persian in thes Process

Abstract
Iran was under the Turkish influence from Seljuq Sultanate until 1925. Persian political identity was a fact of the 1920's and 1930's. The place for the emergence of Persianism is India. Today's Persian language is not the continuance of the Persian of the Pahlavi period. The influence of Persian started in the period of Samanids, especially after the translation of the sources of Islam into Persian. The Pahlavi Administration founded in 1925 started a policy of Persianism in accordance with the mason intellectuals and it succeeded in this policy partially.
