Public Culture in the District of Abana in Kastamonu

Abstract

Abana vvhich has a population of about 4000 is a small town in Kastamonu. It is near the Black Sea. Owing to hard life condition, the great majority of people migrates to İstanbul or Ankara. In this, the folk culture became likely to forget.
